Walmart will price match actual advertised prices (no B1G1 deals), be sure to bring the ad just in case.  Kroger, Bi-Lo, Piggly Wiggly all have customer cards that allow you to earn fuel perks and other rewards.  Kroger:  spend 100 in participating grocery=.10 off gallon at participating Shell stations or earn up to $1 off at Kroger gas stations, Bi-Lo for every 50 spend on participating items get .05 off at participating Sunoco stations (up to 20 gallons only).  All these have limitations to time can earn the perks, and other limitations, for full details see the store.
