Alternative Cooking:
   Sun Oven:  I love Sun Oven solar ovens.  Cook, heat, bake, anything you do on the stovetop, in a crockpot or in the oven (except frying) can be done in a Sun Oven.  For more information and purchasing, these websites are very helpful:

    Volcano Grill:  Awesome.  Love it.  Can be used with wood, charcoal or propane if used with the propane attachment.  Cook, bake, grill, fry, heat; it can do it all.  Easy set up and take down.  For more information and purchasing, these websites are very helpful:

    Blendtec mixer/blender combo--very loud but mixes big batches well and blends great, has an auto-knead feature which is really nice.
    Oster Kitchen Center (mixer, blender, food processor, food slicer combo):  great machine if you can find one (had one from a garage sale for only 5 bucks!, worked for years wonderfully)
    homemade can stove/charcoal chimney made from #10 can
    Cuisinart electric pressure cooker--love it for cooking wheat and beans!
    Crockpot:  love it.  Great for cooking beans, wheat, and lots of other yummy foods.
    Bread machine:  great for when want bread, but not a lot of time to prepare it, also great for kneading dough.
