Low-country store deals

As a way to help, and as one of the reasons for this blog, I will try to list some of the better sales on food storage items at these Low-country/Coastal empire area stores:  Kroger, Publix, Food Lion & Bi-Lo, and Piggly Wiggly.  

I don’t have/use coupons right now, and so don’t know if some items not listed might be a better price in combination with a coupon.  When I compare prices, it is usually with the product of least price per unit (generic brands usually end up being the winner by price, but not always by taste/quality, so if you have tried and really don’t like the generic brands, get the brands you do like and will eat)  Many items I compare prices with Sam's Club and Walmart, if the sale price isn't cheaper than these stores, I won't be listing the item.

Other store perks: Kroger--gas perks with either participating Shell stations or with Kroger stations; Bi-Lo--gas perks with participating Sunoco stations, Piggly Wiggly--greenbax rewards including gas perks.

Food Lion, Piggly Wiggly & Bi Lo deals run Wednesday to Tuesday.  Publix deals run from Thursday to Wednesday.  Kroger deals run Sunday to Saturday.   

I will try and update Kroger deals on Monday, but otherwise Thursdays will be my main updating deals day based on the sales dates of most of the stores.

All updates days are what I hope and plan to do, but due to life, sometimes they may be a day late. 

Items highlighted=good deal, stock up if this is an item your family likes.  The rest of the items are sale priced, but may or may not be the best price to stock up (some items come on sale other times of year for better prices), but still a good price if you would otherwise be buying the item at regular price.
