Some new features

Yesterday I worked on two new pages for this blog:  indexes to recipes and the posts on this blog.  I've thought about doing something like these for a while and yesterday finally put my thoughts into action.  I hope they help.

Recipe Index page.  Recipes will be listed alphabetically under these main headings:  main dishes, side dishes, desserts, drinks & appetizers, other.  Some will be listed in other as well as one of the other categories.  The wheat recipes from the handout I made for some RS classes will be listed under other.  If you move the mouse over the name of the recipe, or part 1/part 2 of wheat recipes, you will be able to click on it and it should open up the post with the recipe listed--hopefully all goes well.  I've also indicated which long-term food items can be used in the recipes.  Food items I consider long-term:  wheat, beans, rice, oats, dry milk, potato flakes, and dried fruits and veggies (though these don't store quite as long as the others listed, they do have a pretty good shelf life compared to other foods)

Posts Index page.  I've organized all posts except recipes and low-country store deals by topic.  There is some overlap as some posts fit under more than one topic category.  I wanted to add a quick summary to each to make it easier to find a particular post.  Again, like the recipes, if you move the mouse over the blog title and click it should open up the full post.

I hope these new pages help.  I will continue to keep them updated, as well as adding to the recommended page periodically.  As for the other pages:

Unfortunates of sharing:  this describes that I don't get monetary reimbursement for any products or services I mention on this blog and gives readers the permission to use content as long as it credited and referenced back to me or the proper source if I've referenced another source.

About/contact:  Brief introduction to this me and this blog.  Indicates regular post titles that I use on this blog.  Also gives information on how to see all the posts in their entirety by clicking on the pages bar on magazine and clicking classic.
